One World

In 1942, Democratic President Franklin D. Roosevelt sent 1940 Republican Presidential Candidate, Wendell L. Willkie, on a mission around the world. The results of Willkie's 49-day trip, covering 31,000 miles, included a great deal of news coverage and publicity.  One World was published in 1943 and went on to sell more than one million copies.  Here is a new edition of Willkie's prophetic book, with its perceptive observations.
