Indianapolis Brewing Company Carded Magnet

October 1889 saw the Schmidt, Lieber, and Maus breweries of Indianapolis, formalize their informal partnership and merge to become the Indianapolis Brewing Company. Their beer won awards in Paris, St. Louis, and Belgium. A 1914 ad bragged that "It is entirely within the truth to say that no product sent out of our city carried the name of Indianapolis to as many people of this earth as do the labels placed upon the products of this company."
