Greater Irvington II is an updated and expanded version of Diebold’s original 1997 book. It still focuses on the growth of this neighborhood and the people who created it. The new edition features offers modern history, new details about Indianapolis' first planned suburb, newly discovered historic photographs and modern images detailing the architectural history of Irvington. It includes 280 pages, discussions of over 200 houses and 278 illustrations. There is a handy architectural glossary and an expanded and detailed bibliography and index of all addresses discussed.
