To receive your member discount please enter your member number from your membership card in the "Membership Number or Notes" field when checking out (unless you are buying a membership with this order).

Current and new members receive a 10% discount on all retail items,which is processed in the History Market. Price shown in the online shopping cart and checkout do not reflect discount prices that you will receive.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” The Indiana Historical Society makes digital images available to provide access to its collections for educational and research purposes. All digital images on our web site are protected by U.S. copyright. In addition, the reproduction of some materials in our collections may be restricted by terms of gift or purchase agreements, donor restrictions, privacy, and publicity rights. When possible the Indiana Historical Society provides information about copyright owners and other restrictions to help determine “fair use” of an item. If a researcher makes a request for, or later uses a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of this “fair use,” that researcher may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse a request for a copy of an item if, in the judgment of the professional staff, filling the request would violate copyright law.
