What started as a newspaper column, “Traveling Indiana,” in the Muncie Star Press, has become a travel companion of interesting and unique sites to see in Indiana-101 to be exact. The sites are a mixture of a little bit if this and a little bit of that- museums, state parks, historic sites, recreation and more.
The entire state of Indiana is divided into six areas: Northern, Eastern, Central, Western, South Central and Southern Indiana. Each area features at least sixteen places to visit. Some of the known and not so well known sites you will discover include the Indiana Dunes, West Baden Springs Hotel, the site of the Reno Gangs first train robbery and the Topeka Draft Horse Auction.
One man’s travels offer a unique and personal perspective as he shares his experiences for you to see. This collection of offerings includes color photos, detailed route descriptions, travel information, local contact information and fees. Six detailed maps will assist the reader in locating the various sites.
